How seriously long has it been since I last posted a journal? ... It says October. OCTOBER. Damn. It's been over a month. So, are you guys? I really miss talking and seeing you all.

Anyway, I'll do a little update...

So, last time I wrote a journal, I was emoing about my ankle and what the doctor said. Well guess what guys?! I'm still dancing. I've defied my doctor once again and have come back on top. I actually rather enjoy proving him wrong. Haha. But yes, my ankle is slightly better. But I still have to be careful. One more slip up and it's metal rods or no dancing for me.

So, after that little fiasco, I ended up breaking my right index finger. Who can say accident prone Kerryn is accident prone? I've had to have it strapped to my middle finger for about 3 weeks. And today, I've actually been able to spend my first day with no strapping. I've been typing so oddly due to the break, that it now feels odd to use my index finger to type. Awkward.

Oh, I got myself boyfriend. My little Tim. Who is actually really, really tall. I feel like such a midget next to him. So yeah, it hasn't been long, but I'm really happy and can't wait to spend more time with him. Wow. I feel rather grown up now.

School and Dancing

Both school and dancing are almost finished! Only a week left and I'm free.

For school, I've had my block exams, which were rather awkward due to my broken finger (Yes, I do write with mt right hand.). So that meant that every single exam (except for drama) I've had to use a computer. My life = brilliant, yes?

And I've now just realized... I've finished my first certificate in Photography for TAFE. It's a rather fantastic feeling.

With dancing, I have my concert coming up. And no. You aren't invited (Wow. That came out rather meanly. I'm sorry!). I really just want to get it all over and done with. I've been making things and such and I'm just really, really annoyed at it. And for the last couple of days, I've been hand beading several head pieces. This is what they look like:

Photoshoots!

So, seeing as I've finished school, and I really need to start putting more effort into my photography portfolio... I'm now starting up photoshoots. These will be done over the Christmas Holidays. Now in a couple of days to a week, I shall either make a new journal or update this one with days that I will be available, so we can work things out.

I'm open to any thing. Be it cosplay, glam, grunge, anything! I will do groups and single people shoots as well. And if all goes well, I'll be able to set up my garage with a studio setting one day.

Now, those are open shoots. I do however have shoot ideas, where it will be an invite only shoot, or a more open shoot.

Planned Shoot

I have an idea for a shoot that I really, really, want to try out. This will be an open to anyone (model wise) shoot. So far this is what I have planned out:

SHOUT OUT

Idea: The idea of this shoot is for the models to wear a shirt with a slogan or a message. This can be whatever message you want to convey. It can either be a bought shirt or a made shirt. Really, this shoot is for messages to come across to the viewers. You can have a shirt from K-mart for all I care. If you want to say a message, and you cant find/have a shirt that says this message, you are welcome to buy a plain shirt and write/paint the message onto that shirt.
When will it be? TBA.
Where will it be held? TBA. I'm looking for a rather industrial setting and can't seem to find one that we wouldn't have to break into. So, if you know of somewhere in Brisbane where it could be held and you don't mind telling me, please let me know.
What to wear? Black pants/skirts. Shirt with message.

A point I must make here: This shoot may cost you money to buy a shirt. But if you feel strongly enough about getting your point across... Why wouldn't you wear the shirt normally? That's just how I see it. If you have any problems with buying/making a shirt but still want to be in the shoot, please let me know. I'm sure I can figure something out.
